MedicarePlanCompass.com provides comparisons and general educational information about Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) insurance plans. We are not a licensed insurance agency, broker, or agent, and we do not sell insurance directly. Nothing on this Site constitutes insurance, medical, financial, or legal advice.

2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and serve relevant advertising. You can also control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect certain features of the Site.
Types of cookies used on this Site include:
- Essential cookies — required for basic Site functionality
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Advertising cookies — used by us and third-party vendors to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites
3. Google AdSense and Advertising
This Site is funded by advertising delivered through Google AdSense, and may in the future use other third-party advertising networks. Where advertising is served, these third parties may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

4. How This Site Is Funded
MedicarePlanCompass.com runs no affiliate links and takes part in no lead-generation programs. We earn no commission or referral fee from any insurer, agency or broker, we do not pass your details to anyone who sells insurance, and no company pays to be mentioned, reviewed or ranked here. The Site is funded by advertising alone. If that ever changes, this policy will say so before any such link appears anywhere on the Site.
- The Site links out to official sources such as Medicare.gov, CMS, the Social Security Administration and state insurance departments. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
- There is no quote request form and no agent-matching service on this Site. The only personal information you can send us is through the contact form, and it reaches us alone.
- We do not control how any third-party website uses information you choose to provide to it directly.
This Site is not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. Government or the federal Medicare program. Official Medicare information is available at Medicare.gov.

- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Third-party advertising networks (e.g., Google AdSense) for the purpose of serving ads
- No insurance company, agency or broker. We do not share your information with anyone who sells insurance
- Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics) to help us understand Site usage
- Service providers who help us operate the Site (e.g., hosting providers)

7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the sale/sharing of your information.
7.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your information, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (which may include certain advertising cookie practices). To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@medicareplancompass.com.
7.2 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no industry-standard way to respond to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to them.
7.3 Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom (GDPR)
This Site is written for readers in the United States, but it is operated from Spain, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies to it. If you are in the EEA or the UK, the following applies to you.
Who is responsible for your data. The data controller is Unai Sampedro, Reus, Spain, reachable at contact@medicareplancompass.com.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis.
- Running the Site and keeping it secure — legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)). This covers the server log data described in section 1.2 and the essential cookies in section 2.
- Answering you when you write to us — legitimate interests, or the steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) and (f)). This covers the name, email address and message you send through the contact form.
- Analytics and advertising cookies — your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time by reopening the banner, and withdrawing it does not affect anything done before you did.
How long we keep it. Contact form messages are kept for as long as the conversation is useful and no longer than two years. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months. Cookie lifetimes are set out in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights. You can ask us for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for processing to be restricted, for a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to contact@medicareplancompass.com and we will answer within one month. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your own supervisory authority; in Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Transfers outside the EEA. Our advertising and analytics providers, including Google, may process data outside the EEA. Google relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for those transfers.
8. Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16, where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including insurance carriers, government resources (such as Medicare.gov), and advertising partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective date.” We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
